Trailhead Information
From the east side of Cedar River Bridge on 231st Street (G-28) follow the signs 7 miles south on Echo Avenue to 276th Street then follow 276th Street to the west and turn right on Casey Ave. There is a parking lot on Casey Avenue.
Description
There are various dirt and mowed grass trails throughout the 176-acre recreation area. Along these trails, you can see a reconstructed prairie, wooded ravines, upland timber, and several small ponds. There is some very steep terrain that can make for a more challenging hike. Hiking, hunting and nature studies are suggested activities.
