Parking is available at the Geneseo City Park, elsewhere downtown, or on the streets along this route.
Description
A dedicated signed, shared route connects bicyclists or pedestrians from downtown Geneseo through quieter neighborhoods to the Lodge Community Park. The park has a playground and a covered picnic table.
Users can travel northwest on the grassy equestrian path (hikers and bikers are welcome but must give the right-of-way to horses) to Lock 24. Cross the canal on Grange Road and join the paved Hennepin Canal Parkway Trail on the left or right.
