Abundant parking can be found in Sunset Park along Sunset Lane between 18th and 31st Avenue, Rock Island.
Description
Sunset Park sits on 250 acres of wooded park land featuring Lake Potter, a 50-acre protected lake, with an outlet to the Mississippi. Sunset Park is the trailhead for the 65 mile Quad Cities' section of the Great River Trail system. Sunset Park is also the site of a baseball diamond, sand volleyball court, outdoor ice-skating rink, multiple picnic tables and shelters, playground equipment and on-site restrooms.
