Description
This 5.1 mile combined facility including the separated sidepath and marked bike lanes is part of a network of multi-use trails, paths, and on-road facilities in Bettendorf, IA. The sidepath runs parallel to Tanglefoot Lane on the north side of the road and connects to both the Devils Glen Road Sidepath and the Middle Road Sidepath. Along the trail are Optimist Park and Hoover Park as well as three local schools. The sidepath is separated from the road, ten feet wide, and perfect for walking, biking, and running. The bike lanes are on each side of Tanglefoot Lane and go from Utica Ridge Road to Devils Glen Road. The bike lanes are five feet wide and are perfect for the commuting cyclist.

Other Information
The following rules apply to all persons using the recreation trails within Bettendorf city limits:
- Bicycle riders shall ride single file on the right. They shall pass only on the left and sound a warning upon approach and pass of other users of the trails. The speed limit for any recreation trail is 15 miles per hour.
- Walkers shall walk no more than 2 abreast.
- Dogs shall be leashed and positioned to walk on the grass.
- No person shall stop or stand on the path to visit. Baby strollers may be parked on the area adjacent to the path.
