Description
46-acre Wapsie Park is the largest park in the City of West Liberty. Straddling the Wapsinonoc Creek, the park features a 9-hole disc golf course, three softball fields, a soccer field, basketball courts, volleyball courts, and a swing set. Each of these are accessible from the North Corn Street entrances. A 0.6-mile wooded trail and a reservable shelter are accessible from the US 6 entrance.
Field preference is given to organized recreational leagues and those with reservations. A new Mini-Pitch soccer field will be complete by fall of 2022 on the site of the existing basketball and volleyball courts. New basketball and volleyball courts will be constructed.
