Trailhead Information
From Highway 61 south of Muscatine turn east onto 41st Street. There is a parking lot as well as a boat ramp and fishing areas.
Description
The trail is a 1.5 mile paved walking and biking trail, and a 0.6 mile primitive trail. It connects to the City of Muscatine's trail network to the north. The park includes over 120 acres of clear water lakes, sand dunes, and grassy areas. Access for canoes and kayaks is on the east side of the park off of Pettibone Avenue.
Other Information
- Area closed between 10:30 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.
- All boats must be removed from the park daily
- No fires allowed except in designated fire rings
- All pets must be on a leash
- No swimming or wading except in the designated beach area
- No hunting or trapping
- No target shooting
- No horses
- No motorized vehicles except in designated areas
- Use of gasoline boat motors not allowed
- All state fishing regulations apply
